Tested by Officer H. Filker, Alhambra P.D. Preliminary arrangements to secure a 650 cc Golden Flash BSA for this road test met with a series of unending obstacles. Shipments of new models were received steadily by local Los Angeles dealers who delivered them to "waiting list" customers almost at once. Several dealers promised a bike would become available only to have to countermand this statement. Finally Caspary Bros., Los Angeles, BSA dealers, provided me with their shop demonstrator.
