For sale is an absolutely beautiful, one owner, garage kept 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 with just 109,991 actual original miles. This 3000GT VR4 is finished in Zurich White Pearl paint over gray leather and shows incredibly well. For those unaware, the 3000GT VR4 was a vehicle decades ahead of its time, equipped with a dual overhead cam twin turbocharged 3.0 V6, 6 speed manual transaxle, all wheel drive, all wheel steering, active aero and dual mode suspension dampening. 1994 was the first year for the 6 speed gear box and power was raised from 300HP to 320HP. 1994 was also the first year that the fixed position headlights were offered.
This car was purchased new at Ed Carroll Motor Co of Fort Collins, CO on 9/22/1993 and remained in the Denver area its entire life. This car was recently driven 1,100 miles from Denver to Northern Idaho and did not skip a beat. This 3000GT VR4 comes complete with every piece of original literature from new including the original window sticker revealing this car's ,870 MSRP, the original purchase order, original warranty registration card, all original owner's manuals inside of their black vinyl case, all informational pamphlets, original radio security code card, jacking instructions with wheel lock and two sets of original keys with fobs. A large stack of maintenance invoices from new also come with the car along with receipts for tires and miscellaneous parts from over the years.
The interior of this car is in excellent original condition. The dash does not have any fading or warping in the padded vinyl material. All of the gauges are working and the leather wrapped steering wheel shows zero wear. The carpets are free of any major stains or fading and do not have any cigarette burns. This is a non-smoker vehicle and the cigarette lighter appears unused as shown below. The original carpeted floor mats remain with the car as well. The leather seats are all original and show very well with some light wear to the outer front seat bolsters as shown below. The rear seat appears as new. All of the power options are working and the A/C blows ice cold. The active aero is also functioning, which raises the rear spoiler above approximately 35mph.
The exterior of this 3000GT VR4 is in incredible original condition. The Zurich White Pearl paint has a very deep shine. This paint has high metallic content, so it changes in the sunlight. The body is entirely ding and dent free and is laser straight. The car also features a clean, one owner verified CarFax report. The car has a few minor blemishes expected of the age and mileage such as road chips, etc. The front bumper cover has a few very fine hairline cracks in the paint as shown below, but are nearly undetectable without looking for them. The rear bumper cover has a small wear mark to the right of the license plate area as shown below. The undercarriage of this car is very dry and rust free without any scaling or corrosion. The factory undercoating still remains intact beneath the car. The exhaust is all stock and retains the original emissions system.
This 3000GT VR4 runs and drives incredibly well. At 92,500 miles the car was treated to a new timing belt, water pump, lifters, valve stem seals, spark plugs and front struts (receipts included). This car is a blast to drive around town, but also cruises on the highway with ease. The car tachs approximately 2,500rpm at 80mph in 6th gear. This car is road ready.
