Rare Playbill? or souvenir program from original Broadway comedy production of Eugene O'Neill's (1888-1953) "AH, WILDERNESS!" at the Guild Theatre in New York City.  This is O'Neill's most well-known comedy.  The play opened October 2nd, 1933 and ran for 289 performances through June 1934 at the Guild and starred the infamous GEORGE M. COHAN aka "The First Actor" and a strong supporting cast including Jean Adair, Elisha Cook, Jr.. Catherine Proctor (1879-1984) and Joseph Allen.  Sets were designed by Robert Jones and directed by Philip Moeller (1880-1953) - one of the founders of the Theatre Guild. The over sized 20 page program measures 9"x12" inches and includes full production credits, several photos and bios of George Cohan and Eugene O'Neill, extensive promotional and historical text, two pages of excerpts from a number of New York reviews and several pages of production photos.
