Aiwa PX-E850U Full Automatic Stereo Turntable 33 & 45 Record Player Pre-Amp
Proper shipping of any turntable requires the platter, and counter weight (if removable) to be removed and packed separately from the turntable. Once you receive the package, you'll see the platter and counter weight wrapped separately inside the box. This will prevent any unwanted stress to the motor, and tonearm during shipping. If turnable is belt drive you'll need to slip the belt over the motor spindle once platter is in place. Direct drive turntables do not involve a belt.
Setup is easy. Simply place platter on center spindle and slide counter weight on back of the tonearm. Some turntables do not require any balancing (factory set) while others do. If you do not know how to balance a turntable tone arm please refer to youtube videos for this explanation. It is a universal process for all. There are many detailed videos online on how its done. Tested and working properly. Spins at correct speeds for 33 and 45. All buttons function. Shows wear with some scuffs and
scratches
on casing, and dust cover. Cartridge and stylus look to be in good condition. This turntable has a built-in pre-amp which allows it to play on a high or low level input amplifier (please research). Switch to select this is located under the slipmat (see photo). Proper setting is required depending on amplifier
