AJ Francis Miami Dolphins Game Worn & Signed Nike Gloves - Worn Vs New Orleans Saints, 3 Tackles including Game-Winning Tackle for Loss!!!AJ Francis is a professional wrestler and former NFL nose tackle. He is currently signed to WWE where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Top Dolla and is a member of the stable, Hit Row. He played his college football at the University of Maryland. During his five years there — which included a red-shirt season — Francis tallied 143 tackles, 9.5 sacks and four blocked kicks. Francis has also been a member of the New York Giants, Washington Redskins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots & Miami Dolphins.
As a senior at Maryland, Francis moved outside to the end position — where he’d never played before — and responded with a stellar season. He led the Terrapins with three recovered fumbles and three blocked kicks. He tied for second on the team with four sacks and was third with nine tackles for losses.
On November 16th, 2015, Francis was acquired off waivers by the Seattle Seahawks. On November 24, he was released by the team, but signed to the practice squad two days later. On November 30th, 2015, he chose to be promoted to the active roster in Seattle over resigning with the Dolphins to their active roster. On March 8, 2016 Francis signed his one-year exclusive-rights tender deal to return to Seattle.
On October 12th, 2016 Francis signed with the Washington Redskins. He was promoted to the active roster on November 29, 2016. He was waived on December 10, 2016 and was re-signed back to the practice squad. Francis signed a futures contract with the Redskins on January 2nd, 2017. Francis played in 6 games in 2017 and recorded 18 tackles.
Francis signed with WWE in January 2020. Francis then made his wrestling television debut on the May 4, 2021, episode of NXT where he aligned himself with Isaiah "Swerve" Scott by helping him defeat Leon Ruff in a Falls Count Anywhere match, establishing himself as a heel in the process. The following week, Francis was introduced as Top Dolla and formed a new stable, Hit Row with Scott, Ashante "Thee" Adonis, and B-Fab. Top Dolla would then make his in-ring debut on the May 18 episode of NXT, teaming with Adonis to defeat Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese. Despite Top Dolla being drafted to the SmackDown brand along with the rest of Hit Row as a part of the 2021 Draft, B-Fab was released on November 4, and the rest were released 15 days later.
On the August 12, 2022, episode of SmackDown, Francis made his unannounced return to WWE under the Top Dolla name, where he and Ashante "Thee" Adonis defeated two local competitors. Afterwards, Dolla, Adonis, and B-Fab proceeded to embrace the WWE Universe in their post-match promo, therefore reuniting Hit Row as fan favorites.
The featured white, gray and black Nike Gloves were game worn by AJ Francis in the final preseason game of the 2013 season against the New Orleans Saints. Miami third-string quarterback Pat Devlin rallied the Fins to a 24-21 victory on Thursday, August 29th 2013. Devlin threw for 259 yards, including a 56-yard pass to Marvin McNutt on fourth-and-4 with 3:02 left for the winning score. Miami Dolphins Rookie Dion Sims caught four passes for 36 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown. Francis contributed to the effort with 3 tackles and a Game Winning TFL. (Tackle for Loss) The defensive lineman has signed the Gloves and added “Game Worn N.O, 3 Tackles, 1 TFL”. The Gloves show good use! The Gloves were obtained directly from AJ Francis!!!
