    Description

    Here is a Conklin Crescent No. 40 BCHR fountain pen.
    Pen was disassembled and cleaned. New sac is installed. Pen fills and writes as expected.
    Comes with excellent 14k Conklin No. 4 nib that writes with a medium wet line and full flex.
    Gold filled clip and crescent shows minor wear.
    Barrel imprints are readable, including the model number.
    Chasing is worn, slightly more on the cap
    than
    barrel.
    Clip has great tension.
    No cracks, not personalized.
    Color is very good.
    Length capped about 5 1/2".
    Very nice example of the larger version of the iconic Conklin Crescent Filler. 100y survivor.
