The Bhutan 5 Ngultrum is part of the family of banknotes issued in 2011 with a pick number P-28b and designed by Giesecke & Devrient. It comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The banknotes obverse features on its center DeyNga which means offerings of sensory enjoyment. On each side is a mythical bird of long life which is called bja tshering. An embossed cloverleaf is also visible. The reverse of the banknote is the Paro Taktsang which is also called Taktsang Palphug Monastery or the Tigers Nest. The Bhutan 5 Ngultrum has a solid security thread. The 125 x 60 mm paper banknote has no watermark.
