    Item Details
A set of prints from the paintings of East African Birds by Louis Agassiz Fuertes. Presented by the Field Museum of Natural History, these four prints reflect the most popular species that were captured during an expedition to eastern Africa in 1926-1927. Listed artist Fuertes (1874-1927) joined the trip, painting the studied species. These prints of the Gray-Headed Kingfisher, Helmet Shrike, Black-Shouldered Kite, and Sand Grouse are accompanied by short descriptions of each bird alongside a letter from the museum director.
