Conklin Black Hard Rubber Crescent Filler Fountain Pen Patent 1903

First let me say I know NOTHING about pens.  I had a friend take a look and he was able to tell me this is a Conklin Black hard rubber chased without clip, Crescent fill 1908-1910.  It is marked Conklin's Self Filling Pen  Non-Leakable   Toledo Ohio  U.S.A. Pat MCH17.91.Oct 29, '01 Dec 1, '03.  The nib is marked CONKLIN Toledo 3.
It looks like it is in great condition, with no chips, brakes or melts.  The top comes off nicely.
I have not made any attempts at cleaning or restoring this pen.  There is no clip, and I don't know if it is missing or the pen didn't come with one.  I think condition is very good for a pen that is over 100 years old, but again, I am not an expert and there may be something I am missing.  Please email with questions and I will do my best to give a complete answer.
