Conklin Filagree Gold-Filled Quatrefoil Ring-Top Fountain Pen. Flex Sheaffer Nib

This Conklin gold-filled quatrefoil filigree ringtop fountain pen is in lovely condition.  No brassing, dings, or dents are apparent,
he hard rubber is black and shiny.  There is no personalization on the pen although there is a place for one on the cap.
This small (4 3/8 inches closed, 5 1/2 inches with the cap posted) fountain pen is in lovely condition except for two issues.  First,
the locking ring that holds the crescent has a small piece missing, but it works ok and holds the crescent in place.  Second, the nib, is broad and one of the most flexible I have ever encountered, curiously is a Sheaffer #2, not a Conklin #2.  I thought about swapping out the Sheaffer nib for a Conklin one, but I simply cannot make myself alter such a beautifully writing pen that someone in the past has gone to such considerable effort to make this a flexy broad pen. The pen has been cleaned and a new sac installed.
Please understand that this pen is NOT for a fountain pen ‘rookie’ because of its flexibility, wet writing, and relatively small ink supply (unless you do not press hard).
The following points of inspection may be of interest:
---This is a used pen.
---There are no cracks or chips on either the barrel or cap;  the pen is shiny, but certainly has micro scratches from use, BUT a small piece is missing from the locking ring.
---The cap posts properly
---The crescent works and the pen sucks up ink and expels ink
---The sac has been replaced
---The nib is a Sheaffer, NOT a Conklin nib
---The ball on the end of the nib seems to be intact.
