Description
This listing is for a circa 1930 used but excellent CONKLIN ENSEMBLE, a fountain pen and pencil combo in marbled BLACK & BRONZE. The unit is 5-7/8" long and has flawless gold trim. Additionally there are no noted flaws to the plastic. The pen of course is a lever filler and it will need a new sac before it will take up ink. The lever is marked with a Conklin patent no., presumably for the lever, and a Crescent logo on the tab. The clip is marked Conklin with a clip patent number. The CONKLIN barrel imprint is in three lines, noting the Toledo manufacturing location and "ENSEMBLE" for the third line. The pencil is operated via tip twist action and operates perfectly. Removing the pencil from the pen reveals the old eraser still present with extra .046" leads in the magazine. The nib is marked " CONKLIN TOLEDO" and has a crescent shaped breather. The nib is a fine point, straight with good iridium and moderate flexibility. Great combo!Prior to bidding, please read below the information on payment, return policy and on international shipping.
