    Description

This is the rare, taller set of Francis 1st salt and peppers, with each shaker having a height of just over 6".  They have a combined weight of 283 grams.
This salt and pepper set has an engraved triple monogram in the cartouche on one side, perhaps, but I'm not sure HAG.  The cartouches on both sides are flanked by two urns overflowing the the Francis the 1st fruit cornucopia, and further embellished by floral chasing.
Each shaker's lid has chased floral work and an urn shaped finial.
On the bottom they are marked, in descending order:  with the Reed & Barton Hallmarks, Sterling, 570A, FRANCIS I; then with the date mark, a fleur-de-lis, for 1930.
