    Description

Offered is a rarely found pair of labeled art bird sculptures by Frank Mosse using aggregate rocks, porcelain and enameled metal.  They measure approximately 4" high x 2" wide and on their felt covered base are intact gold foil labels.  The porcelain robin (with black head, light rub to black paint) is perched within quartz crystal rocks as found in nature and surrounded by painted enamel metal flowers with round orange polished stone centers and gold painted metal leaves.  The porcelain canary is perched within green quartz crystal rocks as found in nature and is surrounded by painted enamel metal flowers with round yellow polished stone centers and gold painted metal leafs.  Both have protective felt bottoms with attached intact gold foil labels "Hand crafted and painted porcelain set in natural rock formation by Frank Masse copyright 1975."  Very pleasing to the eye, the art sculptures were well cared for with no signs of dust, breakage or flaws and can be confidently described as in pristine condition and ready for display.
