HOF Dick Vermeil Philadelphia Eagles Game Used Sweatshirt & 1979 Coach’s Pants

If you are reading this ad and you grew up in Philadelphia in the 1970's, you no doubt, know the story of Don Tollefson.  He was, at one time, probably the most beloved sports news person in Philadelphia and worked for Channel 6 Action News.  He ran into some difficulties about 10 years ago, which resulted in many of his personal belongings being auctioned off including his storage units.  There were many articles written about Mr. Tollefson (and his storage units) in 2014 and 2015 that are available on the web.
Soon after these auctions, we were able to purchase a few items that were found including these items and a customized Philadelphia Firebirds hockey jersey with TOLLEFSON on the back.  The Firebirds jersey is also listed on ebay this week.
The Philadelphia Eagles sweatshirt is a size Large, made by Russell Athletic in the USA.  It has writing in the collar ("VERMEIL - 82") and on the tag ("DV") as pictured.  We found a picture of him wearing a similar sweatshirt on the sidelines.  The sweatshirt is in good condition with no noticeable damage, just normal wear.
Also included is a pair of kelly green coach's pants.  See the tagging inside.  These were made by Pearson Sporting Goods in Philadelphia and have a 1979 year tag as pictured.  The tagging appears to be 39" waist and 36" length, but when we measure the pants, the waist measures about 36" and the length measures about 29". Perhaps they were tailored by the equipment guys?  The pants have some loose threads that could easily be repaired, but no holes or other significant damage.  These are classic kelly green bell bottom pants!  Written on the waistband appears to be "CC".  We have no idea what this represents.  Perhaps, these were not worn by Dick Vermeil, but someone else with the initials "CC"?  We don't know.
Both of these items were owned by Mr Tollefson.  These items make a tremendous display together and now that Mr. Vermeil is in the Hall of Fame should be prominently displayed for the public to see.  We have never seen any "game used" Dick Vermeil items.
