Ives Original Prewar BOXED Red Hawk Set #484. Includes scarce #3255R Loco, 2 #135 Parlor Cars, #136 Observation, all in black/red, all the original boxes, track, and original bottom portion to set box. All pieces are original with no repaint ever. The set is circa 1929. The loco has been heavily touched up, and the pilots are incorrect to the loco. It did not run when tested. All 3 cars have some scratches and wear throughout. All trim is intact on the set. All 4 boxes are correctly marked. The loco box has wear to one end, and some tape repair. One #135 box and the #136 box are nice with both end flaps. The other #135 box has both end flaps loose. There are some loose and missing interior flaps throughout all 4 boxes. The bottom of the set box is nice, but is not marked. Please examine photos as they are the best description. Cool scarce set, no reserve!
