Josh Gordy St Louis Rams Game Worn & Signed White & Blue Nike Zoom Cleats – Worn Vs New Orleans Saints, 7 Tackles & Interception!
Josh Gordy is a former NFL cornerback, most recently playing for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He signed a free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars following the 2010 NFL Draft. Gordy has also been a member of the Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Rams, and Indianapolis Colts. With the Packers, Gordy won Super Bowl XLV against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gordy played college football at Central Michigan University.
Gordy was a four-year starter who earned second-team All-MAC honors as a senior. He appeared in 47 games with 45 starts and finished his career with 212 tackles (134 solo), 10 interceptions and 37 passes defensed. In his senior year he earned second-team All-MAC honors and was named CMU’s Most Valuable Defensive MVP after leading the team with three interceptions and 14 passes defensed. Gordy posted an interception in the season opener at Arizona (Sept. 5) and recorded eight tackles, including one for a loss, and an interception at Buffalo. He also matched his career-high with 10 tackles and an interception at Bowling Green State. In his junior year, Gordy was named MAC West Division Defensive Player of the Week after a school record-tying three interceptions and career-high 10 tackles against Army. He returned one of the interceptions 15 yards for a touchdown.
The former CMU Chippewas MVP played in 14 games for the Rams in 2011, starting 9. He had a great season with 3 interceptions and 43 tackles. Gordy enjoyed his best game of the season against the New Orleans Saints when he registered 7 tackles and an interception in a 31-21 win.
The featured size 11 right cleat was game worn by Josh Gordy when the St Louis Rams faced the New Orleans Saints on October 30th, 2011. Rams running back Steven Jackson had two touchdowns in his first 100-yard game in three seasons helping St. Louis with a 31-21 upset of the New Orleans Saints. Josh Gordy was a beast in the win collecting 7 tackles and intercepting future Hall of Famer Drew Brees. Gordy has signed the cleat and added “2011 Game Worn vs NO Saints 7 Tackles 1 INT” in black.
The signature has bled. The size 11.5 left cleat was also game worn by Josh Gordy but wasn’t worn for the New Orleans Saints game.
This cleat is unsigned. Both cleats were taped up and show good use.
**** Please note that although these cleats are a match, they were worn in 2 different games. The left cleat was game worn by Josh Gordy but not worn for the New Orleans Saints game.
