In very good condition as seen in photos and described below. Impressive and well proportioned.
Recently found in
Indiana, this is an un-inscribed, probably 1st Place, late 1950s era Motorcycling Racing Trophy. I've been told it was made by Dodge, though it has no maker's marks.
It's pretty tall at 15.75". It is solid and fully intact, though does have some flakes in the Lucite base, and some evidence of wear/age. The "cup" (just under the topper) is made of bronze and shows a spot of oxidation on the back. Nothing cracked, broken or repaired. The inscription panel has some scuffs, easily slides out to inscribe or replace.
