Tumbled smooth oyster shells with a hole drilled to be able to hang the shell.  Perfect to make ornaments, keepsakes, mobiles, chandeliers and more. We prepare our hand gathered oyster shells from their natural state to be smooth and craft ready using a professional grade lapidary tumbler.
These are tumbled in our commercial lapidary equipment to ensure a finished product ready for use in your project
giving the oysters a smooth exterior as if they rolled in months of surf and sand.
Our oyster shells come right from the Texas Gulf Coast and are washed, cleaned and tumbled to knock down sharp edges.  Our family members drill the holes in each oyster at the top portion to make it easy to hang.  These oysters were first used as a food source and are now repurposed to produce beautiful craft quality shells.
The approximate size range is 3 inch to 4 inch plus. These oyster shells are a product of nature and no two will be alike. We state an approximate size range. We do not offer these to fit the size you need for a specific craft project. We will ship you the quantity you order within the size range stated.
We will not do any special order picking for specific sizes, shapes or color ranges. These are bulk priced and are exactly as we gathered them up at the beach. If you are needing large quantities for specific craft projects, we suggest you order a quantity of 10 to start with to make sure the oysters we offer will work for your needs. We will not send a pre-paid return label for the oyster orders. The only time we pay for shipping back is when we have made a mistake of some kind.
We do not sell perfect sea life. Our items their lives in the sea, living through all types of weather conditions. There may be natural variations such as; growth marks, chipped edges, ragged edges or barnacles. Not perfect, but just natural, beautiful, and imperfect.
Our items or not posed and our photos are not retouched. You will not receive the item(s) in the photography but those of equal or better value.
These are just as pulled out of the ocean. We clean them, rinse them and then dry them. The tumbling process prepares the surface for workability whether you paint, nark, decoupage or glue. These are perfect for a large variety of upscale crafts. They are nice, white, excellent quality oyster shells perfect for your project. These are collected from the back bay waters of the Texas Gulf Coast and are a product of the USA. Collected and cleaned by Texans.
We do not sell specimen, museum quality shells. We sell good quality craft or display seashells only. Slight blemishes or variations in color are to be expected but in no way diminish value or impair usability. We have over 50 years experience as collectors and shell crafters and know the quality you are expecting. Entire order must be returned for exchange or refund.
