Vintage *MEDIUM-LARGE* Natural White/Ivory Lucine Cup Shells
~
measuring from approximately half an inch (1/2") to approximately five-eighths of an inch (5/8") across.  Sorted, counted and bagged from vintage lots of shellcraft supplies I've been fortunate enough to collect throughout the years, these are the sturdy
round
white cup shells rarely seen for sale anymore ~ they are
not
the angular, brittle hemicardium (Philippine Cup) shells listed more often for sale these days.  These seashells are estimated to be from the 1940s to 1960s era, and shells
like these were used to create pretty flowers for accenting brooches and earrings.

These shells have been hand sorted to remove any shell trash or broken shells.  Versatile, sturdy, and rare vintage shells, ready for creating beautiful seashell flowers for pictures, wreaths, frames, and especially for Sailor's Valentines.
You can let your imagination go wild with crafting ideas for these seashells in all your shell art projects and designs!
