Vintage Iridescent Dark-Mix Abalone Seashell Chips

with pieces measuring from less than an eighth of an inch (<1/8") to approximately a quarter of an inch (1/4”) long or slightly larger.  These seashell chips are from all areas of Abalone Shells; and, as shown in the photos, some of the natural shell chips are black,with most of them exhibiting the characteristic mother-of-pearl flashes of pink, green, turquoise and blue when light shines on them.
These versatile sparkling tiny vintage shell chips, estimated to be from the 1930s to 1950s era, are useful for creating fine mosaics and backgrounds in jewelry, pictures, and Sailor's Valentines.  They may be a little dusty from having been in storage for several decades, but all that's required to bring out their ultimate luster is a quick rinse in warm soapy water.
The photos show a sample of the shell chips, which have not been cleaned; so, as their colors already shine through beautifully, they might not even require any cleaning after you receive them!
