Nick Bellore New York Jets Game Worn & Signed Black & Silver Nike Cleats – Worn In Win Vs Miami Dolphins!
Nick Bellore is a Pro Bowl fullback/linebacker and special teamer with the Seattle Seahawks. Bellore signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Bellore has also been a member of the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers. He played his college ball at Central Michigan University where he had a great career.
Bellore was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended Whitefish Bay High School, graduating in 2007. He chose to attend Central Michigan for a chance to start at linebacker immediately, despite interest from the University of Wisconsin and Kansas State University.
At Central Michigan, Bellore started 52 games in his career, which is tied for the most in school history. He ranks third in CMU history with 472 total tackles including an outstanding 24 career 10-tackle games. Bellore had three consecutive 100-tackle seasons and was just the sixth player in CMU history to earn All-MAC first team honors in three different seasons.
For his stellar 2010 season, he was selected to play in 2011 East-West Shrine Game and was named to the All-MAC first team defense. He also earned the Ring of Honor team award and was elected as a co-captain by his teammates. He was named MAC West Division Defensive Player of the Week for performance against Hampton (9/2) which included 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss. For the 2010 season, he added four more 10-plus tackle games. (Northwestern, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan and Toledo) In the Northern Illinois game, he dominated posting a season-high 14 tackles in loss.
The Chippewas appeared in three bowl games during Bellore’s career, winning one (the 2010 GMAC Bowl), only the second bowl win in CMU history. He was also selected as CMU’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2008 and 2009.
Bellore played in all 64 games with the Jets over a four year span (2011-14), and registered three tackles along with 90 special teams tackles. In 2014, he ranked second on the team with 15 special teams tackles. Bellore led the team in special teams tackles in each of his first three seasons with the Jets (31 in 2011, 17 in 2012 and 27 in 2013). On October 14th, 2012, Nick Bellore caught his first career pass on a fake punt by Tim Tebow. He gained 23 yards on the play. Jets coaches looked into converting him to play fullback in training camp of 2012, but the experiment was short lived and he returned to linebacker. On January 6, 2015, Bellore was named to the 2014 Pro Football Focus All-Pro Team.
In 2016 with the San Francisco 49ers, Bellore appeared in 14 games where he started a career-high 10 games and registered 82 tackles, four passes defensed and the first sack, interception and fumble recovery of his career. He was placed on injured reserve on December 19, 2016 with an elbow injury.
On April 3rd, 2017, Bellore signed with the Detroit Lions. He was released on September 9th, 2017, but was re-signed two days later. Bellore began being implemented in the Detroit offense as a fullback, strictly for blocking purposes until a surprise touchdown reception against the Baltimore Ravens on December 3, 2017. It was his first touchdown in his entire playing career. On March 14th, 2018, Bellore re-signed with the Lions.
On May 9th, 2019, Bellore signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He finished the 2019 season with two receptions for 23 yards, including a three-yard touchdown reception in a Week 16 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Bellore was released during final roster cuts on September 5, 2020, but re-signed with the team two days later. Bellore is one of the best specials teams players in the NFL, as well as a leader in that phase of the game, which often features a lot of young players in prominent roles. For his special teams prowess in 2020, he was named to his 1st Pro Bowl.
Bellore recorded 14 special teams tackles in 2020, a total that was tied for third most in the NFL, and second in the NFC behind teammate Cody Barton, who had 16. Bellore also took on an even bigger leadership role with special teams captain Neiko Thorpe missing most of the season due to injury, and thank in no small part to Bellore's play and leadership, the Seahawks had their best season on special teams in several years, ranking second in Rick Gosselin's annual special teams rankings, which are based on teams' statistical rankings in 22 different statistical categories; and ranking third in Football Outsiders' DVOA, a stat that measures a team's success on every play relative to league average. On March 18th, 2021, Bellore signed a two-year deal to remain in Seattle.
The featured size 11.5 black and silver Nike Cleats were game worn by Nick Bellore on September 23rd, 2012 when the New York Jets played the Miami Dolphins. It was a wild game with the Dolphins missing a potential game-winning field goal attempt in overtime, and then the Jets having a kick blocked with a chance at victory, and then….Timeout! New York Jets kicker Nick Folk received a reprieve that gave the Jets the win. After Folk’s blocked field-goal attempt in OT was negated by a timeout, his retry was a successful 33-yarder with 6:04 left, and the Jets beat the Dolphins 23-20. Bellore has signed these outstanding cleats and added “Game Worn 9/23/12 Jets 23 Miami 20” to the left. Bellore’s #54 is written in black on the back heel. The cleats show light use.
