    Description

    This sale is for a German schuetzen target rifle sight. This single post, long-range sight, was modified by fastening a 2" extension to bring it closer to the eye when shooting. It may have been used on any system, including flint lock, percussion and various cartridge target rifles. Dimensions of the rectangular shaft is .233 x .234". Designed as a longer range sight, it will not accept the disk for shorter range shooting. I have seen this type of sight being further modified to accept a disk. It is in excellent mechanical condition with smooth adjustments.
