    Description

    This sale is for a German schuetzen target rifle sight. This single post sight, with elevating screw was used, very likely, on early muzzle-loading target rifles up into the cartridge rifle era. It could have been used on any system, including flint lock, percussion and various cartridge target rifles. Dimension of the round shaft is .253", and the modern screw blank has not been threaded, so the buyer can thread it to fit his purpose. It is in excellent mechanical condition with smooth adjustments.
