PETERBILT 579 / KENWORTH T660 T880 RADIATOR OVERFLOW SURGE TANK.
I removed this tank from a peterbilt 579 with PACCAR Mx-13 engine. This tank has no leaks and was still functional. But the coolant temp sensor cavity is possibly worn. The reason I say this, the sensor itself did not want to stay in upwards position. Would move slightly down so I added a hose clamp to hold in place better. Silicone would work also, maybe a smaller hose clamp or zip tie would be even better. Either way if you buy this tank beware of this issue. Could cause a false low coolant warning light if sensor not in correct position. This will be sold as-is with no returns.
