Rare 1949 AMA Motorcycle Association Gypsy Tour Award Longe Beach Wa. Necklace

rare find at an estate sale, brass ornate art deco chain that moves between the links, the medallion I don't believe is brass ? metal of some kind and measures 1 - 1/2" clasp works so, so, it closes but you have to check that it shuts, the necklace does look quite old to me, so this is all I can tell you about the piece, they had no history on the necklace except it was there father's, but really cool necklace, would be great to add to one's collection. I purchased it in Vancouver Washington, about two hours from long beach, so it does tie in to what I researched about the rallies.
These rallies started in early 1900's  in Long Beach Washington ended in 1964 due to deaths, injuries and sometimes unruly actions from the nomadic motorcycle groups these events attracted.
