    “A Gentleman of France” starring Kyrle Bellew has effective situations, color and motion but with the characterization of as buckram…Miss Robson lends a charming stage presence. The trite comedy is made effective by the fine work of Bellew and Robson; Basil Hood’s “Sweet and Twenty” has the charm of simplicity and wholesomeness and stars W. H. Thompson, Sidney Drew, Richard Bennett, Harry B. Stanford, sweet Annie O’Neill; Mr. Esmond’s “The Wilderness” trifles with the audience until the author finds himself again in the third act…Margaret Anglin plays the woman with fascinating capriciousness…her art is fine her temperament is finer; Mr. Richman is effective and Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Whiffen Mr. Crompton and Mr. Courtney contribute good art; Chats with Players on E.
