    Description

    This Oversize S5 Conklin barrel with beautiful Crescent Filler and No 6 Toledo Conklin nib may be unused. It was over 100 years ago so I can’t really assume that -  there is no cap, it was acquired in the original Conklin box with personal note and I see no ink traces. The 4 1/8” barrel is bright and shiny with all imprints as new. The big and rare No 6 nib is Very flexible – the tines are separated but I see iridium on both tips. This is easily the glossiest and freshest Conklin piece I have had. The chasing is as new, lustrous and well-defined and the entire barrel tip to tip appears unhandled or close to it.
