    RARE SERGAL HMS PEREGRINE GALLEY WOOD SHIP MODEL
    . Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Mail.
    This is a Sergal kit from 1973.  There is no equivalent model is now produced at the same scale.  Corel produced one of the same ship but half the size that can be viewed at https://modelexpo-online.com/COREL-HMS-PEREGRINE-WOOD-SHIP-KIT_p_961.html.  The COREL kit has two stay sails and a flying jib not modeled in the Sergal kit.  The COREL aslo has round gunports rather than the square gunports on the Sergal kit The COREL kit is

    Length: 36" / Height 24" / Scale: 1:50.
    New versions of the COREL kit cost over 0; new versions of other ships at the same scale and size cost well over 0.
    The kit includes 4
    full scale plans 42" wide (some are shown in the images) with
    minimal instructions in English, Italian, German and French, a poster of the model, a short history of the ship.  All keel, deck, and frame parts are pre-cut.  Hardware includes wood fittings, brass fixtures (cannons, figurehead, square gun ports, anchors, ship's wheel and same parts-there are not cast white metal parts), flag, sail cloth, rigging line plus strips for planking and dowels for the masts.  A special brass sheet shown in the last image provides stern filigree.
    UNLIKE THE CURRENT KITS, THERE ARE NO LASER CUT PARTS IN THIS KIT. The next to last image shows the items that you will need to cut out.  Many can be cut with a simple Xacto blade, some would require a jeweler's saw.
    The box has a scrape shown in the picture but all parts and plans are in very good to excellent condition. The figurehead needs to be polished. It has been stored untouched in a smoke and mildew free environment.  I will never get around to building it so I'm hoping to find someone who wants it.
