Shiner is an American post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Kansas City, Missouri that was active from 1992 to 2003. Since 2012 Shiner has been playing several shows a year. The band's new record Schadenfreude was released May 8, 2020, with touring to follow that was since cancelled due to COVID-19.
Aereogramme were a Scottish alternative rock band from Glasgow, formed in 1998, consisting of Craig B., Iain Cook, Campbell McNeil and Martin Scott. Prior to their split in 2007, the band released four studio albums.
Formed in the first months of 2000, Atlanta’s Hex Error set out to forge a fiery mix of angular, aggressive, rhythmically dynamic rock. The band has gained a reputation for its no-holds-barred live shows, and has played throughout the southern and eastern parts of the U.S.A. with national acts such as Unsane, Mastodon, High On Fire, Melt Banana, Avail, Shiner, Bellini, Cutthroats 9, New Brutalism, Keelhaul, Floor, American Nightmare and Aereogramme. The band convened at Man…Or Astroman’s? Zero Return Studios in Atlanta, GA in early 2001 to record their self-titled debut album. Released in December that year, the album was distributed nationally in the U.S. The album charted as high as #54 in the CMJ Top 200, and proved to be a favorite on playlists among colleges throughout the U.S. In June 2002 the band linked up with Growl Wow Records for the U.K. release which was distributed by Cargo Distribution. The album gained good reviews in the rock press, particularly Kerrang and Rock Sound, as well as getting the band featured in Metal Hammer.The album also gained radio play on Kerrang Radio and specialist rock radio shows. In June 2003 Hex Error were invited to perform at a free speech rally in Washington, D.C. by the A.C.L.U. and picked up a small tour with No Idea Records artist Floor. A new and never released album is planned for release by FTW Recordings, Ltd. in late 2010.
