Ten (10) 1.90" to 2.25" Dentalium Vernedei Shells (208-D-XXL) 8UN15

Description

This listing is for one box of 10 pieces of Dentalium vernedei shell ranging in size from 1.90" to 2.25". We have hand sorted these in New York and kicked out bad pieces. They are packed in a box to protect the pieces, but please note that one or two shells may break in transit.
The pieces are a mix of shells with most around 2.00" long. There may be a few longer than this, but is it not common. Our internal guideline is to show the length as starting at 1.90" even though we target 2.00". This is to take into account any shell that may fall just a bit short. The goal is to deliver 2.00" to  2.25". We do not do further sorting or grading. Please note that most shells will be 2.0" with some possibly a tad bit shorter by accident and some, but not many, longer than 2.0". Very few will be a full 2.25".  We just use this range as our cut off to the next size, which is almost nonexistent.
The shells are smooth. Each box of 10 weighs about 10 grams.
You will not receive the exact box from the photos but something very similar.
