    Description

    This is one of the most unusual wooden models I have encountered depicting the USS Constitution.  It is vintage, VERY OLD, has metal cannons that appear to be brass, intricate cannon doors and decorations.  Most intriguing is the portrayal of a figure head.  I have never seen a model with one attached.  It will need new sails and stringing and some cross bars of sails need attention.
    This was found in an attic of an old Boston home. Definitely one of a kind.
