Vintage Baier Aluminum Willy Jeep & Trailer Germany 1951 Rolling Ashtray & Lighter.
This is modeled after the Ford Willy MD Jeep military vehicle. It's a tabletop cigarette holder, lighter and ashtray. This piece is made of aluminum with a holder on top for storing cigarettes, a lighter set in the hood and a small trailer is attached that is an ashtray with 4 grooves to hold cigarettes. The ashtray trailer is missing the tires but overall this piece is in good condition for its age.
The roof of the truck displays a post WWII map and is stamped in red "Germany 1951". The lighter opens by turning the door handle counterclockwise. It's used with lighter fluid.
The piece measures 9 1/8" long. The truck is 3 1/16" tall and 2 3/4" wide. The ashtray is 2 1/8 x 2 3/8" x 1 1/2".
The inside of the cigarette holder is stamped with the logo & patent rights. It's also stamped on the bottom around the lighter fluid fill hole.
