Vintage Fisher ER-8130 stereo 8-track deck (Made in Japan)

Description

Vintage Fisher ER-8130 stereo 8-track deck in good condition. Unit has been tested and is working properly. The only mechanical issue I found with this deck is the tape counter belt needs replaced. Counter belt appears to be single function, so it isn't necessary for proper playback operation. All other belts/rubber components appear to be in good working order. Sound quality is what you expect for an 8-track deck. Audio is balanced across both channels. All front panel functions work correctly (except for counter). I did not test any of the recording features of this deck, but I do guarantee them to work properly. All indicators & meters illuminate. Both meters work well. All switches & controls have been cleaned with De-Oxit to reduce or eliminate static.
Cosmetically, unit shows light wear and looks good overall. No large scratches, blemishes, or damage. Front panel has a few tiny marks. Top edge of front panel trim has several faint scratches. Wood cabinet has a couple small corner dings, but looks great overall. Rear panel is fully intact. Masonite panel has a slight bulge in the middle (purely cosmetic). Power cord is in good shape. No evidence of smoke or moisture exposure.
