Vintage model sailboat

Up for your consideration, a beautiful dumas alcort sunfish. I just finished the build, i wish i had 5 more vintage kits like this! I think they are floating art. I did a few embelishments, a rudder arm lockdown , centerboard stay mechanism, and i made a mahoghany centerboard for display.i also made a limewood and walnut strip floor interior.comes with all pictured, including lexan and oak dowel stand. I havent put in water, but dumas claims its a great free sailer. I would dab a little vaseline in centerboard opening at bottom if you plan on sailing her. Hull has 2 coats of sanding sealer, and 2 coats of ultimate spar varnish, should be super water tight. Local pick up only, do not support the overpriced democratic run post office.  Enjoy!
