Vintage Motorcycle Motor (s) Enthusiast Club Shield/Plaque 1st

Description

This is a motorcycle plaque/shield which was part of an old collection of Indian Motorcycle ephemera I purchase many years ago. Items stretched from the years1913 to 1946. The shield has a hand stamped/engraved "M.E.C. 1st" on the face. I believe it to stand for the Motor (s) Enthusiast Club. On the back of the plastic shield stand someone has scratched the number 126......The shield is mostly a silver color and possibly overlaid on brass/bronze since there is a light brown patina around the "M.E.C.". The small dark spot to the right appears to be only minor tarnish.
