    Description

    This sale is in aid of my local Hospice Thrift Store, where I volunteer working on electronics. I sell items here for the store that don't readily sell in house, alongside my normal vintag
    e audio business.
    This listing is for fascinating piece of engineering. I've owned and sold many Simpson meters, but this is the first one of these I've seen.
    It records ambient temperature on a paper roll that is driven by a clockwork mechanism. The paper speed can be adjusted by changing gears (see the photo of the internals) and the temperature sensor uses a long arm to mark on a roll of paper as temperature varies during the day.
