Vintage SylvaC Ceramic Glazed Pitcher Squirrel and Nut In Tree Signed 6.25”. Condition is "Used". Pitcher is a brown tree trunk and tree leaves with a orange/brown squirrel eating a nut. Squirrel has some crazing with an unglazed area on the foot and on the nose. Tree has some very small areas of missing glaze/scuffs. One area pictured looks like either something hit it creating a oval shape or it was an air bubble popped in the glaze. It is rough to the touch and not very noticeable. There is scuffing and soiling on the bottom base around the rim. This item was gently cleaned and it still has some white residue in areas near the top inside as well as the bottom inside. It will need a better scrubbing. Pitcher is signed/stamped on bottom “4241 Sylvac Made in England”
Picture is 6.25 inches tall and is approximately 5.25 inches at its widest point including the handle.
