Description
This is a small leaflet, program or flyer, printed on both sides of a single sheet of paper, and folded in half. The front cover reads (in part): "Criterion Close-up. The Show Place of Oklahoma. OKLAHOMA CITY, JULY 17, 1926." (The "Criterion" theater opened on Main Street in OKC, in 1921, and has sadly been demolished.) The cover pictures an illustration of Clara Bow, and is marked: "MANTRAP - Starring CLARA BOW - Ernest Torrence - Percy Marmont...Next Saturday." (This film was directed by Victor Fleming, who went on to direct "Gone With The Wind" and "The Wizard Of Oz.") Inside, is a photo and article about the upcoming film, "Fine Manners" starring Gloria Swanson. This was during the silent movie era. When closed, the flyer measures 5 & 1/4 by 7 inches. The condition is FAIR. It is printed on very thin paper. It creased, as it has been was folded into quarters. There are small nicks in the paper, near the edges. The paper is a bit frail, but still holding up fairly well. This item is guaranteed to be old & original, printed in 1926, or your money back.
