    This is a vintage original 8.25 x 11.5 in. double-sided full-color ARTIST PROOF NO. 2 depicting the beautiful
    FAY WRAY
    c.1929. Taken from an issue of
    Motion Picture Magazine,
    she is depicted in a period tennis outfit and holding a tennis racquet. The verso indicates this is an Artist Proof No. 2, which was "one of a regular series of Art Reproductions of charming and popular Motion Picture Stars. They are reproduced in full color on pastel finished paper." This beautiful piece of artwork most likely measured 9 x 12 in. and was unevenly trimmed with signs of wear along the top and bottom edges and and paper loss. It certainly can be framed with an inner mat to hide the wear around the edges.
